Brian Walters, Factotum Inc. is in the process of remodeling a green home that will be LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified. This certification was developed by the United States Green Building Council to promote environmental awareness amongst government agencies, architects, engineers, developers, and builders. The LEED green building certification system is the national benchmark for the design, construction, and operations of high-performance green buildings.
We are designing this home to be durable, environmentally friendly, healthy and comfortable. This home will be cost effective to own as well as to operate.
